I saw skywriting in person for the first time today.

walking across Hayden lawn with Tawny, we caught sight of some interestingly shaped contrails. a THDAY, in fact, since the library itself was blocking our view.

I honest to god cried out, pointed and stared when I saw that the plane wasn't finished.

we stood there and watched until the full HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAMP appeared in the sky, hovering over 'A' Mountain for all of Tempe and Scottsdale to see.
