part three (1, 2) of a series on distance - the physical, as well as the distance between memory, dreams and reality.
dreams can be inspiring, but they can also become an end in themselves and suck out all the color of everyday life.
everyone has their "no such place" and their tendencies to idealize a person, a concept, or a place that will make it all okay, while forgetting about what lies in their own backyard.
I live near Sky Harbor and seeing so many airplanes cut through the sky in my yard is a little rough sometimes.
