Artist's Comments

It took forever to find the right words for this.

I love the whole idea of the 'sea change': years and years of gradual development, and then, finally - consciousness. All that time and history behind where we stand today as a civilization. Even at the personal level... with every lesson and discovery, the elements too shape people into who they are, and who they will become. A lot goes into self-sustainability.

It's an ongoing series of cycles, concurrently or one after another, like how nature itself works.
And it comes and goes, just like us all.

The imagery comes from my own memorabilia... the desert background is my home, and the structures are what I've seen beyond the mountains. I guess it's just my own individual stamp on the process.

12" x 12", tiny little colored pencil drawing.
